Re: I am looking to adopt a kitten
Hi Beth, Did you get your kitten yet? Here's one with CH (cerebellar hypoplasia). It says he "walks like a British soldier for a few steps and then falls over." He doesn't need any help eating or using the litter box. They want someone with experience. https://www.petfinder.com/cat/nevyn-7...

Exactly. Grind it in. Only dummy here tried that with baking soda and left sneaker tread marks all over the house because the baking soda stuck to my shoe.

Re: Animax Ointment for female diaper dog
I guess I could. I'd end up touching the area with my fingers (potential germs). But I wash my hands before a diaper change because I'm pressing the new pad into the diaper with bare hands, and you would hope the ointment would take care of any germs, right? I'd have to lift her rear a little and th...

How to clean fresh fecal (poop) stains on carpet
This has been working so well, I just want to share it. I have a quadriplegic dog who does his Number Two lying down. Usually I put him on a "potty towel" on the living room carpet to do it, but often he will end up off the towel because he can kick his hind feet. It is not unusual for him...

Animax Ointment for female diaper dog
Dolly wears a diaper 16 hrs a day, and from time to time she'll get redness and swelling in her little girl area. The vet gave us Animax Ointment. I squirt a little bit on the pad of her diaper where it will contact her girl parts, and then put her diaper on. By about the 3rd diaper change she looks...

Re: CH and urinary incontinence? (Young male)
Hi CHmama, :banner: I'm not sure why he started having issues now after 3 years. I hope someone else will know. I haven't had a CH kitten but I've seen a lot of rescues advertising them for adoption, and they are often pee pad trained. Here are some examples. Meet Baby Rocky He is a moderate to seve...

Yeah, she really likes it. She seems to be putting on just a little weight, which she needed.

It does affect his stools. Cannot recommend. My kitty likes it though.

He liked it. Now we're waiting to see how it affects his GI tract.
It's lasts 7 days in the fridge.

I'm going to cautiously try CatSip Cat Milk for Pip. I didn't realize it was for dogs, too. We'll see how the milk agrees with him. It's 99% lactose free. Have to get some first. It would be a change from soy milk or Knox Blox.

Re: Scruff a cat with a clip
Got a 2" binder clip to try. Not as good as the clothespins. Clothespins work better.

Re: Scruff a cat with a clip
I was trying to see what kind of clips are used and I found this veterinary study that used binder clips. I guess that's the same as in the first video. I need to see if I can get some. I've been using 5 large clothespins because that's what I have. They want to all lean over to one side or the othe...
