Maybe get/make him a cart for front-end use? msg
Kid John is the cart expert. A lab seems mighty big to be wrestling in and out of a wagon; seems too hard on both of you. i'd check to see which companies make front-end carts and get ideas. A cheap cart company is Tail Wagon, http://www.tailwagon.com , but I haven't heard if they do front-end. I've...

It's for humans, but most of the tests are the same (but I don't know aboutnorms/ranges).

Don't know about homeopathics, but human saline ( eye wash)
and terramycin fixed up my last bunch. Terramycin's not expensive--not even $6 a tube.

I think Jan has some with similar problems msg
I will also try to find the RH/RA links ("Twisty" cats, but Jan hates the term). Barring further internal problems (a problem I ran into last month with 4 cleft palate babies; 3 died) I don't see why they couldn't make it as long as they can eat. I'd bottle them, though, so you can monitor...

Yep, been there done that. msg
And if you look below you'll see that Charles Malesev is doing it, too. I think a cast is a good idea. Tristalyn didn't have one but eventually regained use anyway. Having also been there myself, a cast probably would've prevented my nerve damage altogether. After several months Tristalyn, who had r...

Today I met a new critter in human diaper devices msg
It was a training pant with an integrated cloth-like cover, somehow all waterproof--no rubber pants, etc. It seemed likely to be able to put up with the punishment fuzz butts give.

To expand on Bendy's ideas....
Maybe washable human diapers and rubber pants? They can be extremely cheap or free at yard sales. I like using Onesies to hold diapers on critter diaper butts. What size do you use? As for bandages, KV Vet is usually cheapest (NO SHIPPING charge) on lots of things. kvvet.com You might also check out...

Sounds great!! msg
You would probably find Abledogs helpful. It's both a site and an email list of disabled critters.
I think you're already ahead by having wheels so soon, IMO. Many people have to wait, and I think they might lose precious time.
