Re: Pip diagnosis - Central cord syndrome
It seems to me that the breathing thing is probably emotional, but it sure sounds like he's doing great physically.

Re: Newbie! Needing advice re knuckling and stiff feet
I had to kiss many toads over my boy's contracted foot; even surgery didn't help long because she reconnected the tendon. I can't remember which company made the splint, and another made the custom shoes that finally worked. I can't remember which ones did finally work, not that that's any guarantee...

Maybe he strained his neck a little that time. I would think they'd have used hardware more durable than a little knock, but you could always call & ask them.

Re: Two-legged dog on underwater treadmill
Seems weird to me to be trying that on such a young bipod. I'd think such a little one would find a way, such as walking upright.

Re: Trouble adjusting to incontinence diapers/stud pants
Hmm. Cats don't tend to like stuff tied to their bodily person--wheelchairs, clothes, splints, or whatever. If he can hold his pee that well, does he need diapers? Does he leak when he's asleep, for instance? My diaper butt was spinal cord injured, so it was different.

Re: Newly blind cat
:welcome: Yes, blind cats aren't too happy jumping, although they may jump common places that don't change, like the bed. Toys that make some noise, like jingle bell balls, should work. My young ones always liked a bell ball in a track ball toy, so they didn't lose the ball. If there's some vision a...
