Re: Paralyzed Cat Food

Hi Sissy, I just wanted to let you know that I have a cat whose back legs don't work right and for the most part he drags his back legs along. Doctors think it is probably a congenital neurological problem - as opposed to an injury. I adopted him from a rescue when he was about a year and a half old...

Re: My cat had a stroke and can't walk now

09-Whiskers[1].jpg Hello, Sorry I didn't see this sooner but I definitely would not put the cat to sleep because of partial paralysis - especially if you have time to take the extra care needed. I had a paralyzed cat that I took to the bathroom 3 times a day - you can get on a routine - and there a...

Re: My 17 Y/O cat was diagnosed w cancer

Thank you Christine. She was truly my baby. I am so glad that I had her - and that I kept all 3 for their whole lives. They were so special. It feels very odd not to have them anymore...

When I came from work I found that she had died today. I think maybe her heart gave out. My poor baby. I will miss her dearly.

Re: My 17 Y/O cat was diagnosed w cancer

Sorry it took so long to reply but I have written several times and keep losing the message due to internet connection problems, I think. Anyway my cat, Little Girl had a large lump under her jaw on her neck which the Dr said was a swollen lymph node. She took a sample from it by needle and sent it ...

Hello everyone, I haven't been around much lately but I need your help again, please. My 17 yr old female cat Little Girl was recently diagnosed with cancer - probably carcinoma. A couple of my friends have recommended just making her comfortable for however long she has left with Prednisone - and n...

Hi, Yes. Last I heard he was doing well. There was an update, oh, maybe a month ago? I will look for it in a little bit. And Cleric - NOW Claire - is with Mary Christine now, for about a week? I am behind on reading her last couple of updates. I think she is doing pretty well too, but sounded like M...

Re: Sabrina has a nasty cut/scrape and we can't TOUCH her-he

That is Great! My cat that I was saying was like yours, Samantha escaped through a window - and I am just hoping I will be able to trap her! And I was envisioning trapping her, taking her to the Vet for vaccines -where they would then give her some tranquilizer in order to work with her. Then I thou...

Re: RIP my sweet Bendikins

I have never been able to decide whether it is better to have some preparation - or not!? I tend to think yes- although there's still never ENOUGH preparation. I don't know much about FIP other than that it is a terrible disease! I was just contacted about donating to a "cause" for someone...
