It is my understanding that surgery must be done within

24 hours, but I'm no expert. Have you tried Abledogs? This is the place for cart info, etc, but the Abledoggers are the experts on surgery and the like. John is there; I mostly lurk.

Good luck!

My Tripod did that A LOT at first. It takes time to build up

their muscles. Eventually you'll hear nothing but thumps as he runs through the house!! Don't know about the spray.

Blind 9 week-old Doxie adoptable (crosspost)

Jan, that's SO AWFUL. I'm SO SORRY. msg

I just can't imagine. Last Fall I lost about 18 babies to some unknown disease and 2 to trauma, and I now have my first 2 bottle babies since then. I'm TERRIFIED of what might happen, but I couldn't let them just die. Rescuing is a tough, sometimes impossible, expensive, sometimes thankless job, but...

Re: slow kitten...

It's possible he might be a little retarded or a little LD (Tripod is). I'd say he'll be ok in the end; most of them find ways to deal with it.

Kid John--posting pics

You can post pics that are out there on the web someplace (like when Mark puts them up and sends you the address or when people have accounts with Photopoint, etc.). All you do is plug the address into the box at the bottom that says"Optional Image URL." Either type or cut/paste works fine...

Somebody there mentioned last week that they have a friend whose CH baby had died; they might be willing to take another.

I think Spookie had a seizure, too msg

Aside from the actual shaking, the grogginess afterward (called post ictal) is a dead giveaway. Definitely check out the article Alisa mentioned; I can't remember if it was the Aug or Sept issue (think Sept), but I posted it below. Did she poop or pee when it happened? This is indicative, but I woul...
