:whale: Hmm. Cats don't tend to like stuff tied to their bodily person--wheelchairs, clothes, splints, or whatever. If he can hold his pee that well, does he need diapers? Does he leak when he's asleep, for instance? My diaper butt was spinal cord injured, so it was different.

The last I heard was that plain, clean, municipal water can't give humans, at least, pneumonia even when aspirated. I don't get such publications anymore, so I have no idea whether or not the thinking has changed.

Human quads, in particular, DO spasm themselves not only out of a wheelchair but they can throw the wheelchair on top of themselves.
