Re: No. VA, URGENT - Chaz, heart murmur kitty, needs a mirac

My Vet told me that in the past he would routinely refer cats with heart murmurs to a specialist. But, now, that is not the case since they are seen with murmurs on a routine basis. I'm glad you had this fellow seen by a Specialist. Hopefully, he doesn't have an underlying heart condition and can fi...

Re: Pair of Two-legged Terriers need home

Oh, they are adorable!! There would never be a dull moment with those two. On the news a while back I saw baby Chi's who were missing their front legs too.
If you watched the video the rescue also has a baby albino Great Dane in a cart. Sounds like a great rescue to care so much !!!

Re: Cat struck by car, tail has been amputated, Questions! :

Jaime my cat with paralysis was on bethanechol and phenoxybenzamine years ago and she had the same reaction. So, I took her off everything but Robaxin. But, a few years ago the vet talked me into putting her back on a lower dose because she was difficult to express. He suggested going with half the ...

Re: Cat struck by car, tail has been amputated, Questions! :

Glad to hear your little guy made it through being HBC. So, many never get a second chance. I have several suggestions. 1. Phenoxybenzamine and bethanechol are bladder meds. They work together with one relaxing the bladder spincter and the other one working to contract the bladder. When Ace begins t...

Re: Hopefully commin soon!

Well, hopefully they will be normal in that regard. When I agreed to take the 2 kittens with Manx syndrome the rescue talked me into a third little Manx who supposedly had hind limb deformities but was normal. When Chynna arrived she was terribly impacted with stool. I thought she would never get cl...

Hi Buddy's mom, Thanks for writing us !!! Glad to hear that Buddy is easier to express. That one thing must make life with your doggy so much more manageable! Does Buddy make a good study partner ? He looks like he would make a good snuggler. Wow $1000.00 for one tooth. What does the vet want to do ...

Re: Desperate - still struggling to express cat bladder

Don't feel like a failure. You have had your son expressing him and Zula is still a happy boy. Spend time with the vet, vet techs, your son and also watch the expressing vidoes on this site. Three of mine are on Prazosin,Robaxin and Bethanechol. I couldn't express them without their meds. They have ...
