Re: Two-legged dog on underwater treadmill
Seems weird to me to be trying that on such a young bipod. I'd think such a little one would find a way, such as walking upright.

Re: Trouble adjusting to incontinence diapers/stud pants
Hmm. Cats don't tend to like stuff tied to their bodily person--wheelchairs, clothes, splints, or whatever. If he can hold his pee that well, does he need diapers? Does he leak when he's asleep, for instance? My diaper butt was spinal cord injured, so it was different.

Re: Newly blind cat
:welcome: Yes, blind cats aren't too happy jumping, although they may jump common places that don't change, like the bed. Toys that make some noise, like jingle bell balls, should work. My young ones always liked a bell ball in a track ball toy, so they didn't lose the ball. If there's some vision a...

Re: Newbie! Needing advice re knuckling and stiff feet
:whale: It sounds to me like he has contractures, so he may not be able to use off-the-shelf splints. My Koi had been shot in the spine and came with severe contractures and was able to use a custom splint. Maybe CarolC can come up with a pic of his splint; he was a hock walker, and his toes were co...

Re: Pip diagnosis - Central cord syndrome
The last I heard was that plain, clean, municipal water can't give humans, at least, pneumonia even when aspirated. I don't get such publications anymore, so I have no idea whether or not the thinking has changed.

Re: Pip diagnosis - Central cord syndrome
Human quads, in particular, DO spasm themselves not only out of a wheelchair but they can throw the wheelchair on top of themselves.
