Are you using C/D or S/D? Other than making them msg

drink, I never had much luck preventing Tad's. I salted his food a little to give him incentive; he also wouldn't eat Rx Diet.

An Interesting Add-on, to the post above.

"Unfortunately, due to our limited resources as a nonprofit animal protection organization, The HSUS does not provide direct financial assistance to pet owners for veterinary or any other expenses." [From HSUS publication- as posted by Anne] Before starting crying over the limited resource...

The baby needs oral antibiotics as well, but you can soak the eye open, flush it with eyewash or contact lens saline, and put in Terramycin ointment. I know you can get it from catalogs, maybe feed stores etc (I'd call around), and you don't need an Rx. At least it'd be a start. Even if the baby has...

Can you post Sheba's site for her, too? msg

The human "egg crate" mattresses are pretty cheap at places like Big Lots and can be easily cut into pupper-sized pieces. They can be hosed off and dried as well, but it's a pain. I've seen them launder reasonably well in a washer, if they'll fit. I've seen them dried in a dryer at the ken...

used equipment link and more

http://www.handicappedpets.com/classifieds.htm

This is for the on-site used equipment listing, in case you can't make your own. Also Tail Wagon, http://www.tailwagon.com makes cheap commercial carts (see a testimonial here, in the Gallery). Will post another do-it-yourself link in a minute.

more ideas

http://www.handicappedpets.com/prod02.htm You could probably make something like this bed yourself; looks like the frame is PVC, which is very friendly, and you might be able to use PetScreen nylon mesh (intended for windows and doors) for the mesh bed part. There are also male diapers that hold a h...

Maybe get/make him a cart for front-end use? msg

Kid John is the cart expert. A lab seems mighty big to be wrestling in and out of a wagon; seems too hard on both of you. i'd check to see which companies make front-end carts and get ideas. A cheap cart company is Tail Wagon, http://www.tailwagon.com , but I haven't heard if they do front-end. I've...

Don't know about homeopathics, but human saline ( eye wash)

and terramycin fixed up my last bunch. Terramycin's not expensive--not even $6 a tube.
