You just didn't look in the right place. :) msg

Tail Wagon carts are so cheap (they start at $50) I almost wonder if it's more expensive to build. Check them out; if you still want to build, let me know and I'll get the links and info for you. Kid John's built several. Also, check out the Gallery here for a testimonial for Tail Wagon. http://www....

jdf/Roxy's story

Our dog, Roxy, a German Shorthaired Pointer had an FCE five years ago last April which paralyzed her hind quarters including both rear legs and tail - she also immediately lost control of her bladder and bowels as the muscles controlling her bodily functions became instantly paralyzed. The location...

I think part of it is that most vets have so little

experience with disabled ones. Just because your vet thinks it's true doesn't make it so, particularly with nerve damage and disabilities. I'll try to dig up jdf's report on how vets said his pupper, Roxy, wouldn't get better but for a little while, but she improved for YEARS.

4 months isn't that young; spays and neuters can be

done at 2 months (and I've had them done then). Tripod was amputated at 2 months and did fine, despite the hemorrhage and infection that went along with her injury. Little ones do better than older ones; they learn faster. He'll be fine, and the vet should be plenty experienced with a 4 month old. I...

ps-Bendy used to have an 800 # for those, plus msg

I understand that in some brands even preemie diapers come in sizes. Maybe check with a NICU (neonatal intensive care unit).

I got preemies at a "Scratch and dent" grocery store; they'r

a little unusual. I'll look next time I go; they had more. For a regular basis, however, I suggest you order through a hospital, med equip co, or a cooperative pharmacy (a pharm. here more or less specializes in diaper deliveries, like for people with disabilities, etc.). A small local service-type ...

Did you check out the homemade cart ideas, both

on the homemade cart page and on the "topic" bb? Kid John is an expert cart builder and can help. For a really young 1 I'd build a temporary "Speedy cart" out of K'nex toys until he/she is grown (link below). A cheaper commercial cart is Tail Wagon; check out the testimonial in t...
