yes this website and all these people are a godsend! I came here when my dog got paralised and with the help he lived two more years able to walk ( with a dragging paw). when you have a healthy dog and suddenly something like this happens you are so helpless and devastated. you have to get used to a...

your dog can live a long and happy life!
the fact that she alerted you when she was in pain proves she will do her duty whatever.
she was already so happy to see you, a dog that wants to play eat and be happy deserves to live.
I am glad you really do all you can do and everybody here helps you too.

yes it still is here, after a year...
your routine is different as well, the things that were part of your day, the feeding/walking / playing.
the only comfort Tessa is that you did not leave before her, I could not imagine my dog surviving me, you understand what I mean?

I saw dogs in Colorado in those Igloo's carol mentioned and they were laying on straw/hay .
