I would also recommend Eddie's Wheels because they are easy to get your dog into and out of. Click the link below to see comments from the owner of a very big dog. I have a small dog with rear end paralysis and I bought her a cart from K-9 Carts. It was sturdy and the right size, but I had trouble g...

Hi Sheri, I am always so glad to hear about Pete. That is so extremely cool about the marking. Boy, I'll bet he gets a lot of satisfaction out of that! I'll bet that was really important to him. If you click the link below, it takes you to one short page of Murphy's website. That is where they expla...

Hi Michele,

More detailed response tomorrow--after midnight now. You can look for a holistic vet through the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association. They have a Referral directory at the top of their webpage. Please click the link below to go there.

Re: Help Needed: pet escalator? *LINK*

Good point. The last guy was building but you're retrofitting. This probably won't quite help either, but it's something to look at. Some of the commercial dog ramps are manufactured so you can lay them directly on stairs--lightweight and collapsible so you can remove them when done. Still thinking....

Re: Help Needed: Standard Poodle recovering from accident

Hi Katherine, Just a short answer for now, getting ready for work. If I were you, I'd go straight to the homepage of this HandicappedPets website and click on HARNESSES and order her a harness so you'll have it by the time she comes home. That is the first thing I'd do. A harness will help you immen...

I'm not a medical person, but it since you don't have the diagnostic equipement there to do an MRI or CT, then I would ask myself how quickly this came on. I have experience with a spinal tumor in a pet (not a brain stem tumor) and the symptoms developed over the course of weeks. I would expect to s...
