I have a fecally-incontinent tailless kitten of about 11 weeks named Harry. I have found that by putting him into the litter box right after he eats usually works. The eating stimulates his bowels and he will go. He doesn't know when he is finished so when I see him starting to scratch at the litter...

Email me if your friend wants to give up the little runt. If the little one is happy, then he/she deserves a chance. He/She did ask to be born like that and there are many kittens with disabilities who get along fine. Also, you're a good-hearted person to find help for your friend.
