Maybe they gave him a narcotic? You wouldn't think Rimadyl would zonk him, but maybe so...

Re: Pip diagnosis - Central cord syndrome

Oops, missed this one. Sorry! Agree that the remaining hardware is probably easier to break now; I wonder how that could happen?!! Baby had to be held waking up from her spay, so you're probably right that Pip probably should be, too. Will he only be there for the day? That's typical for dent...

Re: Cat Tail Pull Injury & Urination

My boy with the spastic bladder was hard to express because it took so much pressure to overcome the bladder's muscle tone. He squirted like a fire hose.

People probably think it's surprising that tripods can do all that, but it's good to see wonky critters getting good attention so frequently these days. :thankyou:

And they don't need to be. You can buy surgical gloves at certain places, probably pharmacies, vets, and special orders, but I'd think they'd be overmuch here. Maybe for inserting urinary catheters or something...

Re: Animax Ointment for female diaper dog

Use a glove. I would anyway, cuz I don't like gooey on me, and that kind of stuff tends to be particularly hard to get off. If the cream were put on thoroughly I wouldn't worry too much about some wiping off or smearing; it won't all come off. I'd prefer that to the hit-or-miss of hoping to smear it...
