BlindDogs & Danger

Post by GabrielDeafBlindPupFamily »

We are 4.5 mos old, have mastered sit, down, stay (well...) working on heel, the bell - I wear it. Told the trainer I need to teach her Danger, which I have taught my lab. She wondered how. I said a sound track of different noises and always repeating the word danger. A walk around the yard on leash, stopping and saying sharply danger and letting the dog bump its nose, but not hard and the sooner the word associates with something bad or unpleasant (I believe it is all in tone of voice) So I guess I gotta make a sound track...Any ideas? Adopted out Allicks' bro Sat. went well, good family, pop is Marine & Mom is preggo, and they have a 9yrold dalmation & a shihtzu (danger in that word, eh?)
