Amputation: Duna´s pics riding her wheelchair *PIC*
Amputation: Duna´s pics riding her wheelchair *PIC*
Here you are the firsts Duna´s pics riding her wheelchair. I think we have to adjust something yet but the experience was very good. At the beginning a little rash... Duna let herself fall to get rid of the chair but we tried once again and she runs for a minutes with crazy face shaking her tail.

Sorry, I can´t show the pic
This one loads partially.
I have a pic link that will only work as a pushbutton link, not as a self-loading pic. Perhaps that might solve your problem, too? I just put the pic's link in the link box and treat it as such.

You guys are awesome! Faith had her left arm amputated in July 2003, she has been great without it. You can see her at www.faiththedog.net and you can even buy the book I wrote about her from www.xlibris.com under the book title "With a Little Faith". All animals deserve a chance!

Oh, yes, we've posted Faith's story
around here MANY times; I think we have your page, or, at least, one of Faith's stories on one of the bipod/tripod info pages. I still have HIGH hopes for Faith's eventual participation in a Harry Potter movie; I'm hoping that wasn't just an unfounded rumor! That would be such an INCREDIBLE triumph for disabled critters everywhere!!
Our tripod/bipod/prosthetic links, in case you want to see t
We're always willing to add more, if you know of any! I'm not sure which of the main links has Faith in it...

PS--Make sure to tell us when/where
Faith will be on TV, when the time comes!
As for the "exploitation" issue you address on Faith's site, all I can say is that critters with disabilities have been "in the closet" too long already, and people, including 99% of the vet population, need to be MORE aware of abilities rather than disabilities. The more coverage the better, if you ask me!
Will have to check into your book...
