Sam must know the Cat Ghods...

Post by Bendy Kitty »

Yesterday when mom got back from the shelter he was cold and dehydrated again. Mom gave him his max cc's SQ and put him back on his heating pad.
He keeps moving off.
He was kind of aimlessly peeing an dpooping around the room :(

Mom cleaned up, got him some nice stinky seafood Fancy Feast (his favorite) and coaxed him into eating.
She slept in with him last night. Fluffy was very happy for the company, at first Sam didn't notice.
He got up periodically during the night and slurped down water, then he started eating on his own, later he used the litter box!! (mom didn't sleep much....)
then he came over and settled with mom.
In the morning he was looking so much better, almost back to his old self!!!

Now mom wants to find out WHAT could do this?????
the coldness is all over, ears, feet etc. as is the weakness.

mom will try to pick our vet's brain for suggestions tho she isn't very helpful.

his fur is still falling out, and it isn't ringworm. there are wierd scaly patches inside his ears and on his paw pads. vitamin definciency????

suggestions, links, please!!!

Glad he keeps rallying!! A vitamin suppliment can't hurt.
You might need to keep picking the vet's brain. Sometimes the don't try so hard with older cats and shelter cats because they feel the cat's time is limited anyway. If you still aren't getting answers you can always get a second opinion.
