I am keeping Lila in my prayers. Did you guys make it to Texas A&M? What did they say? How is Lila?

Lila is doing much better-after consulting at length with my vet and the small animal clinic at A & M, we decided to wait on the surgery. Lila has had some severe health problems in the past year and my vet was worried about something so invasive. She is improving-she is able to wag her tail sometimes and can stand for a few seconds at a time. Every day she does a little better than the day before. Thank you all for all the support-I couldn't have made it through the last week without your advice. I'll keep you posted on her progress.

I am so glad you decided to go ahead and let the specialists see Lila. Are you doing prednisone and strict crate rest? I think as long as Lila is improving, the conventional treatment you are doing is just fine. PLEASE keep me updated...and if you have any questions about Lila's care, let me know.
