Phantom Leg?

Post by Cometina »

I was wondering if it is common for cats that were supposedly born with missing limbs to still try scratching (phantom leg) with their missing leg? A friend adopted a brother and sister that were apparently born this way.

My Tripod has been known to do it; her arm was amputated at 2 MO, and she's now 15-16. My Lefty is a stumpy, and he uses his stump as his clobber club.

Lefty's arm is, well, largely missing from about his mid forearm, but it's from birth.
