New Mummy

Post by BonzoBaby »

Hi Everyone, im the proud new mammy to Bonzo a minature schnauzer with 3 legs. he was born with 4 but apparently his mum lay on his back leg, and it eventually came away :(. Vet was consulted straight away and he has had all his injections before coming to us.
Thing is he seems to be having a little distress with his stumpy bit (rear leg) he may have bumped it trying to get up the kitchen step and hes so active only being ten weeks, is there anything i can put on his stumpy?

:whale: Well, you should be able to come up with something for his stump. Depending on the stump, this isn't uncommon, and some critters eventually have further amputation surgery if injuries or skin breakdown become a problem. I don't know how long his stump is, but maybe a sock would help.
