need help to post a photo
Hi,
I am trying to post a photo of my quadriplegic kitten, and am not doing well at all. Can I email it to you and you can help me? I think the file size is too big but I don't know how to reduce it.
Thanks,
Karen

Karen, you can either
right click on photo to save to desk top to change it. Once there, open with what ever program you use. I like Microsoft photo editor. There is a photo option under "picture" called crop. You can crop out all unnecessaries. Then you go to 'compress' under the same pull-down. You can save it as a 'web' or ' email' attachment, again saving to desk top so you don't change your original. Where would you like photo posted?
I can put it whereever for you.

Thanks. I don't seem to find the editing program or whatever. I wanted his picture by my name whenever I post messages on the forum. Doesn't have to be the whole picture - just his little face. Can you help me with that?
Thank you,
Karen
Thank you,

Use "Paint"
On your computer you can right click on the photo to "open with paint", where you can edit the size of the photo. If you have photoshop or another program you can crop, but the change in the photo might be permanent.

Thank you
I really appreciate your help - they are all great. Now I'm having trouble saving them as the right kind of file, like jpg, gif. or png. Hopefully I will figure it out soon. But what you've done is really good, and I thank you.

Whiskers' photo
Sorry it's taken me so long to respond. I've been trying, but haven't been able to do it myself. So if you would, please apply the one - whiskers_sm.JPG - to my profile. I really appreciate it!!! They were all really good - thank you so much!
