Our ll yr old Lab had Larynx tie back surgery and can no longer swim as he could drown. He swam every day in our pool . He has arthritis and the exercise was good for him and now his back legs are getting weaker. He doesn't go in the water without permission and he never dives off the sides. He walks into the water and rarely gets his back wet. Has anyone out there had to deal with this problem? He loves to swim and its killing us to not let him. I hope to find a floation device that I can put under his neck to hold the head up out of the water. ANy help appreciated. Thanks

There are probably other designs besides the http://www.handicappedpets.com/vest/pa/ , but it'll probably just take time to search up the right one. VetPet has several members experienced with tie-backs. http://www.vetpetpartners.org/
