Hello! Please meet Nina (like La Nina, but not as powerful!). She is a lovely and friendly senior boxer mix who is searching for a loving home to live out her final years. She moves slowly as she has put on some pounds over the years but is a great tail wager, especially if you give her butt scritches – she will eagerly back up for more of them, too! She likes being around people but has not had many opportunities to do so as her owner has been in poor health and in the hospital a lot lately. He has found it difficult to care for her and is looking for a good home for his beloved pet. Although she is 16 years old, she still has a bit of pep in her step, even if her steps are short and a little slow! When she is around other dogs, she stays calm and interested in saying hello in a polite way; otherwise, she enjoys resting in her own soft bed and short walks. Please consider giving a home and some love and company to this older girl. She is waiting for you to say “yes”! Thanks for considering Nina.
