foster or forever needed for poss. FIV+, Garland, TX

Crosspost :!: I THINK you can get more info from tenhousecats if you're interested.
***************
i'm posting this for the woman who brought this kitty into the vet where she now resides--the vet is swamped with FeLVs and other sick kitties, and really does NOT have room to hold her, but he's given us until wednesday to find her a place to go. the woman who saved him is out of town for two weeks starting today, but can take the cat back when she returns if a forever home hasn't been found. BUT IF WE DON'T FIND A FOSTER, IT WON'T MATTER!

cat in question is an adult female red tabby, 4-8 years old, front declawed and spayed, dumped outside of Garland. seems to have been there for awhile, as she's a bit raggedy; was rescued and taken to the vet's office.

tested positive for FIV, but with a cat who has clearly had vetting, the possibility has to be considered that she's not really positive at all, just that the test is reacting to vaccine-induced antibodies. That she's female raises that possibility. no reliable way to tell at this point.

we are trying to get a photo taken by someone at the vet's office, in the meantime, finding this lovely girl a place to stay, foster or forever, by WEDNESDAY, JULY 22, is what is most important.

she's in GARLAND, TX.

thanks--let's find her a place to stay!
