Saved! BLIND KITTEN NEEDS A RESCUE OR FOSTER **UPDATE 7/29**

Post by JessiVenom »

UPDATE!: Baby has found a place that will take him!

I'm in urgent need of a home for a loving little blind cat named Baby.
Here's the info:

Name: Baby
Sex: Nuetered Male
Shots: UTD until September
Age: 1 year, born Feb. 24, 2008
Weight: 4 pounds
Color: Tabby & White
Temperament: Loves to be cuddled and play
Why he's blind: He had his head crushed under an automatic garage door at 2 1/2 months old. He's been blind ever since. A reaction to ketamine anesthesia when he was neutered has caused him to have the occasional out of box accident, but most of the time he goes in the box.
If you can help, please reply!

I have already contacted home for life, but they have outrageous expectations. They ask for a $100 donation plus $1,200 a year for the life of the animal.

blindkatrescue@aol.com

but i'm afraid there's no way that, even if i'd seen this on monday, that transport could have been arranged by today.

Perhaps the cat could be boarded for a couple of days or left with a friend while transport is arranged.

It might be possible to board him a few extra days, depending on how long it would take. I'd have to know soon, however, as the appointment for euthanasia is this afternoon
