This small young and active poodle has been paralyzed from the waist down most of her life. Her mom just passed away and the family can't keep her for more than another week. She's in Portland but could go anywhere. Ideally she could get re-homed to San Francisco where she's from, and has her old support system still intact.
She uses a customized cart and is used to being in diapers. Her bladder needs to be expressed regularly and her weight watched -nothing unusual for a paralyzed pet. She's socialized to kids and dogs, and is extremely friendly to people in general.
This is a darling dog who has a lifetime to share with the right person. She's been living with a sedentary adult her whole life so would be comfortable in that situation, but she also likes to go for walks and other adventures in her cart, so she'd be happy in a more active household too.
