NC: Diabetic cat on death row at shelter!!!

This is Chloe. She is a front paw declawed, spayed 9-year old sweetheart! She was recently diagnosed with feline diabetes, and her "family" surrendered her to the shelter rather than treat her. 
She is in URGENT need of rescue or an adopter. She WILL be killed this week (Thursday 8/30 or Friday 8/31) if someone doesn't step up for her. Diabetic Cats in Need (DCIN) can provide all kinds of information about feline diabetes and how easy it is to get into the routine of testing and treating. MANY cats wind up "off the juice" (i.e., off insulin) through a low-carb, wet-only diet alone. Please contact JennF@dcin.info.
