Pilots-n-Paws (crosspost)

Post by Catty1 »

I cross-posted this from another board. Did I put it in the right place? Anyway, might be really useful!

Something you might also find useful is the corridor rescue list, although, despite the fact my corridor is I-95, I see west coast transport requests.

I belong to so many that I cannot afford the gas any longer to save the lives. My next mission is to find local media sponsors.

There are transports, who btw, offer gas $$.

There are corridors for every interstate in the country and all you have to do is google.

We all have the opportunity to save lives every day, by simply taking a day off for a drive.

scroll down to the, "Contacting Transport Lists," section, then click on, "CLICK HERE"--you'll get a LONG LONG list of those lists that will transport cats, as well as dogs and in some cases, other critters as well. this is NOT an exhaustive list, and i'm not sure that the corridor list is the most up-to-date (because i haven't checked the code, okay?), but it's a good place to start.

as karen says, more and more places are offering to help with gas costs.

thanks for posting the pilots-n-paws link; i hope it turns out to be more active than previous such groups have been!
