Chouchou (pronounced shou shou) is an affectionate French nickname given to someone who is special to you.

Chouchou has scoliosis which affects her back legs, but with many supervised attempts she learned to go up and down the staircase in only three days! She hops up each step and now has much more control going down by herself.

She has been going to physical therapy twice a week which is helping strengthen her back legs and unlearn bad habits of dragging her legs. She has been getting stronger and stronger each day.

She has no issue going to the bathroom on her own and stands just fine to do so. She runs outside, but often gets going too fast and will start to drag her legs a bit. But the doctor said she is in no pain. She acts like any other puppy, full of energy and joy.

Chouchou is available for adoption after her spay, microchip, and rabies vaccine on 01/28/22.
