Jocko incontinent Manx kitten Ohio

Post by merlinmarshall »

Jocko, special needs kitten

This cute fluffy kitten is Jocko. His very soft coat is a gray tabby pattern with white bib and feet. Jocko is a Manx type kitten with no tail, but what he lacks in a tail he makes up in toes – he has thumbs on his front paws and extra toes on his back paws. In terms of personality, Jocko is the perfect kitten; he is bright, loves to play and chase, and loves to be held and cuddled. He is a happy guy who purrs most of the time, especially when being held. Unfortunately for Jocko, the birth defect that left him with no tail also left him with limited control over his bladder and bowel. He sometimes leaks stool and urine, and he needs to have his bowel and bladder expressed. Because of the extra care he requires, Jocko must be adopted by someone experienced with incontinent pets.

Jocko is a very sweet kitten, and he is good natured about having to be cleaned up several times a day. He purrs contentedly as his foster mother holds him and wipes him up. He has no idea that he is handicapped in any way, and just goes about his business being a kitten. If you are looking for a very special, special needs kitten, look no farther than Jocko.
