What a cutie Scout is!!!

Scout

Maltese/Chow Chow Mix: An adoptable dog in Jacksonville, FL
Medium • Baby • Female

Scout is a very happy, healthy, socialized outgoing puppy. She is great with people of all ages and dogs and cats of all ages and sizes. She has been raised in a home and enjoys being part of a family. She would prefer a home with another dog for company or someone who can spend time with her. Scout was born without her back feet and was rejected by her mother & owner. She is looking for a home that can provide for her future emotional and medical issues. She currently is able to get around because she is still small. As she gets older she will be a candidate for prosthetics but may also need some support as she grows and before she is able to get fake legs. Scout does not let her disability slow her down and will make a great companion for someone who is able to meet her needs. Scout will probably grow to be a medium sized dog. She has been DNA tested and is mainly Maltese & ChowChow with a small amount of Yorkie, German...Scout is a very happy, healthy, socialized outgoing puppy. We were able to meet Scout's brother and mother this weekend. Her mom is probably 99% Jack Russel Terrier.

Scout is still looking for a home. She is doing amazing and may never need any "artificial" assistance to use her rear legs. She runs around just fine and has developed a good amount of scar tissue. She would love a home with kids as she loves to play.

I'll post her on Special Needs Rescue Dogs Yahoo Group and Charlie to the Rescue. Her Facebook page will make it even easier. She is just a little precious bundle of love!
