Paralyzed plott hound/pit bull mix looking for forever home

Trooper is an amazing about 2-year-old hound/pit mix who was rescued when he was found dragging himself across a field to play with some children. Snooty Giggles took them into their program and got him medical care and neutered. Unfortunately the blunt trauma to his back is too old and his paralysis is not reversible. None of this matters to Troop - he's an incredibly loving and forgiving soul. He is great with other dogs, people and kids. If you're looking for love and inspiration Trooper is your guy. "Trooper is an appx 2-3 year old male Plott Hound mix (probably mixed with a bullie breed) who weighs about 50 lbs (without wheels!!!) Trooper came to us after he was discovered dragging himself from the woods in West TN into a nearby yard to play with the children. When we first brought Trooper in we had hoped that there might be something that we could do for him to recover the use of his back legs, but the blunt injury that caused a severe break to his back was just too old. Trooper doesn't care though, you will never meet a dog with more spirit and will!!!! Trooper loves to run and play in his wheels, but the long time he spent fending for himself paralyzed in the woods made him extremely adaptable to his condition!!!! Trooper's dragging techniques are honestly something to be seen!!! Trooper is great with other dogs and loves to wrestle and play....he is a total love bug and enjoys all the attention he can get.
