Very sweet semi-paralyzed kitten needs a home...
Hi,
About 6 weeks ago, a street cat (a kitten of approx. 9 months) was hit by a car. This kitten is one of about 10 street cats in my neighborhood that I had been regularly providing food for. I took the kitten to a vet, who said he had a broken pelvis with nerve damage. The kitten has been there since then. You can see photos of the kitten here https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set ... 147&type=1
Over the past 6 weeks, the kitten has regained some control of his legs, but he still can't walk, and he still can't control his pee/poo. I am unable to adopt this kitten myself, given my schedule and the fact that I'm single, and I have had no luck finding anyone else who will adopt him.
This is a very sweet kitten who purrs easily and clearly wants to live. He seems to enjoy the company of not only humans but also other animals, including dogs (you can see in one of the photos he parked himself right on the belly of the vet's golden retriever). I'm hoping that there is someone out there who can save this kitten and provide him with a home. Although I live in Istanbul, I would be willing to fly to another country with this kitten if there is a home for him there.

He is absolutely gorgeous! I have shared him on my Facebook page, on Kitty Connections Adoption page, Kitty Connections Disabled and Special Needs Cats, SOS for Special Needs Cats and Cats with Paralysis and Mobility Issues.
I hope he gets a home soon and bless you for saving him!xxx

I hope you can find a home for him, but just in case it takes longer than expected, I'd like to ask about the schedule. At first I thought maybe you go out of town a lot, which would be a problem. But then I realized...if you are feeding feral cats (like I do) then you probably never go out of town.sam2015 wrote: Over the past 6 weeks, the kitten has regained some control of his legs, but he still can't walk, and he still can't control his pee/poo. Would it be possible for you to give him care 3x a day, with the schedule you have? A lot of the members here actually are single and working.
Here is a video that is fun to watch. If your schedule is totally impossible, then maybe you can share it with a prospective adopter.
