Hello,

I am in the US. Can you give me more details as to the circumstances of the injury that caused the paralysis?
One of the moderators alerted me to your post here and would like to know more.

Hi Leah

My understanding is (I'm just crossposting, special needs cats are my passion) that this poor boy fell from a 3rd floor balcony or fell 3 floors from a balcony, leaving him with hind limb paralysis and the need to have his bladder expressed. I would imagine the owners no longer want him and he is being fostered.

I am hopefully taking a cat from Egypt soon, whose back legs don't work and she was found on the streets.

If you go on the Facebook post, you can contact the lady who did the original post. If she is unable to translate to English, I know a lady who can (who also commented on the post - Koky Ibraheem).

Leah, if you can help in any way, I would be eternally grateful.

I can't take this boy myself as I've already agreed to take the little girl.

Hi,

I could not find the cat on the Facebook page itself. Does the little boy have a name or number that I can use to identify him on Facebook?

Thank you.

Leah, this is a post from Facebook "This is a special appeal for anyone who can open their heart and homes to a paralysed cat. This poor cat fell from a balcony and will not regain any feeling in his rear end. He is also incontinent so will need a very special home with an understanding owner who is able to support him (he will wear a small nappy) and who can clean him regularly. He is able to be mobile with a little wheelchair but can only use this under supervision. If anyone can please help this poor boy, he has had no interest and will not be adopted in Egypt due to his disability".

Here is Koko's photo; he's so beautiful but looks so sad :(

Please get in touch with Kelly :)

He so needs an experienced Mommy who will love him forever and do their best by him. It's so sad that he was owned I believe and then since his accident, the owners no longer wanted him :( I could never give up on my kids.

That was the same situation with Sasha, but a few degrees worse: his owner shot him, left him for dead and was then discovered by him and his wife on a roadside alive - one month after the shooting. I would assume, at the wife's behest, they at least abandoned him at the village vet's office, which is where I met Sasha.
Some countries can not tolerate any creature, human or animal, with "disabilities" - pity, but true.
