Meet Lhasa Apso - Molly - SPECIAL NEEDS
Molly is a sweet and gorgeous 8 year old Lhasa Apso female who is about 10 pounds. She LOVES to be around her people, kids, and the other dogs in her foster home. She wags her tail when she hears their voices and will follow their sounds around the house. Molly is happiest when she is laying on your lap and snuggling for a nap. She seems to be an old soul with the sweetest heart! Molly does have special needs and will require a very specific family to live out her best days with.

Molly is fully blind as she had both of her eyes removed in October of 2020 due to an infection. Molly takes her time walking around and uses the side of her face to feel her surroundings. She is unable to go down stairs due to her lack of vision, and cannot be left on furniture unsupervised. She does not stray too far away from her humans or the resident dogs in the house. She will do great either on a leash or in a fenced yard. She needs a home with very minimal, to no stairs to allow her the greatest ability to freely roam her new home. She knows her name well and will respond when she is called.

This precious girl also seems to have skin allergies. She is on a special food to help control her allergies, and also has a daily prescription. The food is about $45 for a 8 lb. bag. Her foster family uses a special shampoo and skin spray to help control the itching. We will know more about the further needs to control her skin allergies when she visits the vet later this week.

Molly does not like being in a kennel or away from her family. She will bark until she is out of the kennel and close to her humans. She will want a family who will allow her to sleep in the same room with them. She does well in the car, so she would love to go on rides with her family if that means they won't leave her home by herself.

She is not house broken and has had accidents in her foster home. She is getting more consistent with going potty outside, but needs frequent bathroom breaks. She will need a family who is willing take the time necessary to continue being persistent and consistent with her frequent trips outside.

Molly's is looking for a home with no stairs, the freedom to roam as she wishes, no kennel, older children, fellow gentle fur siblings, and parent(s) who can stay at home with her the majority of the day. Her adoption fee is $250.
