Meet Ziggy--fostered locally
Ziggy is an adorable, good natured, 12 yr old chihuahua who was picked up abandoned in Boston. He was found to have paralysis in his hind legs but has continence of bladder and bowels. He has a heart murmur that may need further evaluation with an echocardiogram but no apparent cardiac symptoms. He loves other dogs. No known history with cats. We need a home without small children who could potentially further accidentally injure him.
He will need someone with patience who can take him outside to potty. There will be no adoption fee for this little guy, to the right home.

Please complete an online APPLICATION if you wish to adopt. Forever Home Rescue New England is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process. Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to do their business outdoors. Our dogs and pups are best suited for families with children 5 yrs old and up. If you are approved to adopt, please submit the $100 deposit by clicking on our rescue's name in this posting (Forever Home Rescue New England--in purple) which will bring you to a new page with the deposit link at the bottom. STOP! If you have not been notified of your approval status do not make a deposit.
