Meet Wobble Baby

Wobble Baby is on the market! He has cerebellar hyperplasia (CH), but that doesn't keep him from being one of the silliest, most determined, and affectionate cats we have ever had the chance to rescue! He loves to vocalize when he needs you (including when it's time to get him to a litter box if it's somewhere he cannot easily access on his own), if his food bowl is empty, or if he wants you to pick him up. He likes to stay close by and doesn't want you out of his site. His foster mom has taken him to physical therapy sessions and has been working on his mobility. He has become much more mobile since they have started working together! He is able to correct himself after he falls and can walk and run a few steps before falling. He has learned to stand up and walk with a wide base to provide himself more balance. He continues to improve every day and it certainly does not slow him down. He loves other animals and loves to play. His favorite toys are brown packing paper (he goes crazy) and his stuffed kicker toy. He can stand and balance to eat and drink, and more often than not he does stand in his litter box by leaning against the side, however, he is a bit tipsy and will occasionally need to be washed or wiped down if he falls over... but he is a good sport about it. Wobble Baby is a serios lover and when he's done playing, he wants nothing more than to snuggle up on you. His ideal home would be one with an individual who is home more regular hours or full-time and that can provide him an avenue to be less confined throughout the day because using a crate or playpen is desired if you are away from home. He is felv negative, fiv positive (retesting him at the end of the month), up to date on vaccines, neutered and microchipped.
