Meet Gypsy
update: Gypsy doing great! She can stand on non slippery surfaces and is still doing underwater treadmill therapy. She does have a wheelchair for outside, gets along fine in house scooting. She needs to be expressed 3-4 times a day and poops on her own, although she has no control when. She is a happy girl who loves people and other dogs. She needs little time for introduction to new dogs, but after that does great. She is vocal at other dogs on leashes and can be bit obnoxious (if you have seen her at our events you understand!) Reach out at fredsmission18@gmail.com if you would like more info.
Gypsy was surrendered to local vet for euthanasia. Her back had been broken at C-10. Her spinal cord in not broken and she has started physical therapy to relearn how to walk. They believe she will walk again!! She needs home where she can be worked with and someone who doesn't mind cleaning up after her. The rescue will discuss all her needs with foster or adopter. She is 1 year old and 20 lbs. She is sweet and loves all people and excited to see other dogs. She want so badly to play with them.
All of the adults in our program are fully vaccinated, spay/neutered, and have been microchipped. The adoption fee is $175. Adoptions are limited to within a 100 mile radius of Cincinnati. Applications can be submitted online at: https://form.jotform.com/FredsMission/app
