Meet Nala
Do I look familiar? You may have seen me on Facebook a couple years ago when my friends at AGPR were looking for help in paying for my super new cart. My name is Nala and we think I'm about 9 years old in 2022. My previous owners were going through difficult times and had to give me up.

My back legs got a bit messed up when I was younger and they never got fixed. The specialist said that "they are what they are" and there's no fix. BUT, my cart is my best friend! Put those wheels on and watch me go...zoom, zoom. Squirrels, deer - watch out!

I'm a flirt. I am partial to male dogs...if they are nice and not bossy. My buddies at AGPR tell me I am inspirational - I am "special needs" but don't act it. Without the wheels, I can scoot. With the wheels, there's no stopping me.

I'm a sweetheart ONCE I get to know you and accept you into my circle of friends. I love my crate but my future family needs to understand that is my domain and I will protect it from those I don't know. In other words, if I don't know you, please don't approach me until we've had proper introductions.

I'm hoping to find a home with a family with no kids who loves my silky soft fur, my soft eyes and my "can do" attitude. Oh, I will also need a ramp to the backyard if there are stairs. But I'm worth it!

All Great Pyrenees require a fenced-in yard (at least four foot high). If you have questions about the breed or our adoption policies and procedures, please go to our website at www.agprescue.org. There's plenty of good information about the breed on our website - Pyrs aren't a breed for everyone!

Our adoption application is online: http://agprescue.org/adoption-applicati ... donations/

Please note that we are a small regional rescue organization. We will consider adopting to families within a four to five hour drive to Richmond, VA
