Meet Thumper! This handsome man came from NYC where he had been found as an injured stray.
You would never know by how active he is now, but just three months ago Thumper couldn’t even stand or walk. It was discovered that he had two fractures on the top of his spine from falling off of a building and landing incorrectly. Don’t let that scare you - Thumper is ZOOMING now! After some TLC and physical therapy he is patched up good as new. He does have a wobbly gait, but it adds to his charm.
Thumper loves to be pat and brushed, but he especially loves food. He will go crazy for the sound of a can opening! He’s also a chatty Kathy and has the cutest conversational meow (unless dinner is late, then it’s a little less conversational and a little more demanding!)

While Thumper’s fractures are healed and no longer bother him, they do need some consideration in a home. Jumping from high places and rough play should not be encouraged.

Thumper may do okay with a cat-savvy dog who understands he needs to play gently. He does well with other cats. Due to the nature of his spinal fractures, kids in the home should be 10+.
