Meet Emily Dickinson
The writers are a sweet group of mama Maddy and her 4 verbose babies. They came to the Mission after Emily was attacked by a dog and the owner chose to surrender them because he did not want to provide medical care. They are a mix of domestic longhair and domestic shorthair. The babies have an estimated birthdate of 03/24/2022 and Maddy has an estimated birthdate of 05/26/2020.

Sadly Emily's front limb was crushed in a dog attack, and although we took her to the vet the day we received her, it was too late to save the leg as it had already fused improperly. As a result, she will always have limited mobility and function in the leg and may develope arthritis later in life, but her overall quality of life is excellent with nearly normal mobility and a current pain level of 0.

Each of these kitties is sweet and social to people and cats, and they have limited negative experience with dogs, so dog to cat intros should be done slowly and with care. They would be lovely additions to any family with space in home and heart for another loving fur babe.

They all come spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed. The kittens have an adoption fee of $100 and mama Maddy $50. Adopt a pair and reciebe the second fee waived. Adoption includes original paperwork and a food sample. To be considered to adopt, please begin by visiting www.murcismission.org and sending in an application.

Thank you!
