Meet Shrek! Shrek joined our program from Laredo, Texas on 8/6 thanks to Dog Is My Copilot. We are not sure how he ended up in the shelter but we are so glad he made it here to us! He is a GOOFBALL. Weighing in at 120 lbs he is still underweight and needs to gain ~20lbs. He is looking for someone that knows this breed, has the space in their home and life, and can support his high food bills and likely vet bills down the road. He is also deaf and potentially partially blind. We are looking for someone that can meet all of his needs!

THE AAC IS OPEN BY APPOINTMENT ONLY!

To set up a meet and greet, please fill out a dog adoption application ASAP or if you have already submitted one with us, call/email to put your name in line. We will form a line like usual based on who has an active and approved application in. We will go through our line to set up a private meet and greet for potential adopters to foster. 307-739-1881 adopt@animaladoptioncenter.org

Please note, Animal Adoption Center cannot guarantee the breed, composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have no history prior to them entering the rescue. We make every effort to ensure the dogs are healthy. Please know that our intention is to insure long lasting committed homes for the animals at the AAC. If we feel that an animal and a potential owner are not a good fit we reserve the right to refuse adoption.
