Nova is a beautiful Siamese mix who even though she has had quite the tough life, this darling girl is sweet as pie! Nova was live-trapped outside and brought to AHS. Her left eye had already burst and her right eye had scar tissue on it. The AHS vet removed her left eye and pressure checked her right eye. For now the pressure is in “normal” range so the vet didn’t feel it was necessary to remove that one as well. However her home to be will want to closely monitor her eye and be sure to establish communication with their vet for routine check-ins to ensure the pressure is staying within that range. She does have vision, however it is impaired. Her new home will want to be sure to have a set up that is easy for her to maneuver around and keep things in place just to help her out. The vet estimated her age to be around 5-6 years young. We do not know Nova’s history, so we do not know how she will be with other pets or children. However she is adjusting very nicely to the office and learning all the different purrsonalities of her new feline friends. Nova is suPURR confident and has no fears when it comes to meeting people. It is evident that someone loved this sweet girl at some point. She takes delight in holding insPURRing conversations and sharing about her daily adventures. Nova has a sweet gruff meow and will share her voice when she wants your attention! She is ready to let her past go and move forward with someone ameowzingly special!

Our adoption agreement prohibits declawing an adopted cat, and stipulates that the cat will be returned to us if the adoption does not work out, or if the adopter is no longer able to keep the cat or give it necessary healthcare.

For the first 30 days, cats who do not work out in their new homes may be returned for a refund or exchanged for another, more suitable, cat.
