Meet Dixie
Meet Dixie! This girl may be tiny, but she’ll take up a huge space in your heart! Dixie is a very special girl with a few special needs. Dixie was born blind and also has a spinal abnormality. She CAN walk, but sometimes drags herself because she knows it’s faster… she’s very smart! She’s also very affectionate and loves to give kisses! Since she can’t see - she’s not always super confident. If she thinks you’re gone or she gets scared during the night, she may cry out for you. Some of Dixie’s favorite things to do are to get all dressed up in her favorite snuggly outfits (and her necessary diapers), snuggle up in her bed with her blankets, and walk around outside and sunbathe. She’s very mobile when she’s out in the grass. Dixie currently lives with other calm dogs and a cat in her foster home.
