Meet Blessed Blanky Toretto
Blanky was truly blessed to have god looking down on him. His before photo suffering on the side of the road is gut wrenching. After getting hit by a car, Blanky was left for dead in Puerto Rico. The mayor reached out to El Faro de Los Animales and the rest is history.
Blanky is 4 years old, 28 pounds and fully vetted. Blanky has no back legs and endured 6 surgeries to get where he is at. Blanky is resilient and let’s nothing stop him. He can fly like the wind in his wheelchair, play catch with plush toys and run back to you on his two front legs and legit is always smiling. His smile never stops. Indoors Blanky is used to sleeping in a playpen with pee pads. He doesn’t complain about this. Blanky dribbles a very small amount of pee but honestly if there are no carpets clean up is a breeze. Blanky is on prescription diet gastro food to keep his belly nice and consistent. He barks in the morning to do his business and throughout the day. Again, if an accident happens he moves quickly and clean up is very simple. Blanky has lived in Puerto Rico and Massachusetts with kids, dogs and cats. He is very adaptable to his surroundings and grateful to be alive each and every day. Blanky’s family should have prior special needs experience with animals. We are dedicated on finding him his forever home and not bouncing him around. Is he more work than a dog with 4 legs? Not much at all. But the entire family has to be open to urine dribble. Due to having no back legs diapers and wraps don’t really stay on. The reward to all of this is a pup companion who will smile at you from morning to night thanking you for being his rescue angel. Great weather, he will tear up the town in his wheelchair to the point your smile will hurt from the satisfaction he feels to be liberated and that your heart made this happen, games of fetch good weather or not are always hysterical. Take a chance on Blanky. Be someone to give a true underdog the best chance at a new beginning. You won’t regret it.

Blanky is being fostered in Randolph MA.
