Meet Ollie
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.DOG LOCATION: Toronto, ON, Canada

Name: Ollie

Breed: Standard Poodle

M/F: Male, intact

Age: nearly 8 mos. (born May 22/22)

Weight: 55 pounds

Colour: Cream with some faint beige patches

3 words to describe him: curious, loving, gentle

What kind of house does he need?: He'll need a fenced yard because he LOVES being outdoors and his recall is decent but still largely untested outside of smaller, contained spaces. He's not going to be a cottage dog or one who'll be able to participate in activities in marshy or frequently muddy conditions, due to the crucial need to keep his leg and prosthetics dry and clean.

What type of people does he need? One(s) dedicated to training to help him continue on his path to be the amazing dog he's already shown he's capable of being

Is he good with other dogs?: He's been great with every dog he's met so far, including not being too much for the two older ones in his foster home who aren't really interested in puppy games. He LOVES to wrestle with other young, playful dog of all sizes

Is he good with kids?: He's only been with a 14- and 16-year-old and was great. There's every reason to think he will be great with dog savvy younger children as well.

Post-adoption training to focus on: Typical 8 month old puppy stuff
