Meet Val
This tortie beauty is named Val and boy is she ready to go home with you!!

Val loves to snuggle, explore, be held, play and "loaf" around the home. She will stop whatever she's doing, no matter where she is, and hide her little feet under her body while watching her world go by!

She is a SUPER playful kitten, whether it's jingle balls, track toys, stuffies, play mats, crinkle tunnels, cardboard scratchers, automated toys or sparkly balls, if you got it, Val wants to play with it! Val will need a playful feline pal in her forever home.

She was born with mild Cerebellar Hypoplasia. This means she's a little wobbly as she walks. Carpet and rugs help her get around but she's great on wood floors as well! She won't be able to jump onto anything but could learn how to climb up soft surfaces as she gets older! This won't progress or worsen and it doesn't hurt her. She just lives life a little more wobbly than others.

Val gets along with cats and dogs but being the tortie that she is (and having ALL the tortitude that comes with it) she may have a lot to say about new friends. This usually comes out in growling and hisses, but no fear! Give Val patience and time to settle in and she'll be playing with her new friends in no time!

Consider adopting 2 kittens! There are many benefits including:
- One kitten can become lonely and bored
- Two kittens will keep each other busy
- Having two kittens is very entertaining!
- You'll have fewer behavioral issues with two kittens
- You'll save TWO lives instead of just one
- Adoption fee is discounted for the 2nd kitten

Cerebellar hypoplasia is a neurologic disorder that doesn't get worse and doesn't get better. CH most often causes jerky, shaky, unbalanced movements. There is no pain associated with CH and the cat knows no other life and often do great! You can learn more about CH her e: http://chcat.org/about-ch-cats/ https://lifewithchcats.com/what-is-cere ... ypoplasia/

If you are interested in adopting one of our wonderful cats or kittens, you can apply on our website: https://www.commcat.org/copy-of-adopt-a-bff

Please allow several days for us to process your application. We are a small, all-volunteer group and we are doing our best to work quickly! After the application is processed we will make arrangements for you to meet the cats that interest you. All of our cats and kittens are raised in our homes and live with us until they are adopted. They live with us as part of our families so we know them very well and we can help you find your perfect cat! Cats are rarely caged (only if its medically necessary) so you can visit with them and see how they act in a home.

Our adoption fees:
Kittens (under 6 months): $150 (or 2 for $225 )
A dults (6 months to 7 years): $75 (or 2 for $100 )
Seniors (8 years and up): $40 (or 2 for $60 )

All cats are spayed or neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, vaccinated for rabies (if age appropriate) and distemper, and microchipped.
