Meet Maple (Paralyzed)
Maple is a three and a half year old dachshund. She is roughly 15 pounds and suffers from IVDD, but we will help her get closer to 13 pounds. We are working to get her walking again but she may find herself in wheels if she doesn't recover.
This girl is sweet and gentle and lives for chest scratches and cuddles. She will likely have separation anxiety as she goes through the transitions of changing homes while she is paralyzed.
More to come on Maple as she starts care at our specialists for her back and gets scheduled for a dental when her back is strong enough.
