Meet Bowie
Bowie came from a hoarding situation. He was kept in a crate in a basement for years. Never to see sunlight or have exercise. Bowie is deaf and when he has fear the screams are horrifying. He bites himself when stressed. Because of this he is in a foster home. What has been observed is he does not know how to socialize properly with other animals or people. He is not affectionate BUT, greets his person in he morning for food, he cry's for treats, he LOVES chasing toys. He will allow his person to pet him when he is resting and he will purr. DO not expect him to be held or become a lap cat. He enjoys looking outside at birds. What Bowie needs is a quiet home where he can just live and be cared for. He deserves a chance. He is 4-5 years old.
The shelter has an appointment only policy. We ask potential adopters to fill out our application, prior to a scheduled meeting. The staff is very accommodating, and we welcome any inquires.
