Meet Parlor - (rear paralyzed)
Parlor survived a predator attack that left him paralyzed. While there is more of a challenge in adopting a paralyzed cat, you will be rewarded in all of Parlor's love and affection. This guy loves being petted and cuddled. He does love playing and watching other cats, but would do best with a low energy playmate as he can't zoom or get himself out of a situation he doesn't like quickly. Since he can't jump, he will use claws to climb onto a couch or bed, he loves snuggling on soft blankets.

Parlor is paralyzed in his rear end, which causes him to be incontinent. Because he can't feel when he has to go, he just goes. This is maintained by stimulating like a baby kitten multiple times a day to urinate and defecate. Occasional butt baths are needed.

Going up carpeted stairs are currently a challenge for him, while a few he can do, if its a whole flight he will cry for someone to help him up. Uncarpeted stairs may be to hard on his body.

Est. DOB October 4 2023, Parlor is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested negative for FIV/Felv.

Please note that the Misfit Felines policy requires that young kittens will either need a sibling to go home with or there must be another playful/young feline already in the home.

Adopters will receive an adoption package of goodies valued at around $100 if you visit one or both of our Petstore partners after adoption (Tabby & Jacks and All Paws).

Misfit Felines Inc is a foster based 501(c)3 rescue. All of our cats are in foster homes. The first step in the adoption process is to submit an application.
